Another century

We left Gackle today bright and early with the hope of getting a jump on the day. Lodging/camping options are limited between Gackle and Fargo. What saved the day was a small cafe in the small town of Marion about 40 miles down the road. It is truly a fine dining establishment. Breakfast tasted like home cooked food. We had French toast, eggs, ham, sausage, juice and tea. Everyone there was so friendly and made us feel right at home. So far N Dakota is by far the friendliest state we have experienced. It's been great. Breakfast fueled us for the day to come. 131 miles - our highest mileage day yet.

Aside from a few rollers to begin the day we were blessed with very flat terrain and tailwinds. The perfect combination for lots of miles with a loaded tandem.

Miles today = 131

Total miles = 2009
