We are in Minnesota and the heat continues to pursue us. Today was sunny with a high temp around 90 deg F. However the countryside is beautiful - green with rolling hills dotted with many lakes. It's been a long time since we've seen lakes with cottages and homes along the shore.

We finished in the small town of Pellican Rapids. Interesting thing concerning food in this town. The only restaurants in this town are Mexican (except one small pizza shop and a breakfast/lunch restaurant that was closed). Who'd a thought that Pellican Rapids MN would be home to Mexican restaurants. Speaking of Pellicans, we were surprised to see several in the small ponds and lakes of North Dakota. We never realized that Pellicans found their way this far north.
