Today was an easy 49 miles. Tomorrow will be even easier as we will be taking a rest day. Today's terrain was gently rolling with lots of trees (shade!).

Last night was a wild night. We were so thankful to be indoors at the Bunkhouse. Much of the night stormed all around us with high winds, rain, lightning and thunder. Many people to our south are without power.
Today we landed at the Country Bed & Breakfast. It's located just north of Shafer on a very quiet and peaceful dirt road. Our host is very welcoming and has made us feel right at home. Tomorrow we plan to go to church with our host. This should make for a good rest day.
