We left Malta early and continued along Route 2 throughout the day. It was once again a hot day with an east wind that made for a hard day. We had lunch in Hinsdale consisting of hot dogs and juice. It's amazing how good hot dogs taste.
There is a roadside park about 15 miles east of Hinsdale. The park provides restrooms, shade and picnic tables. That combined with a few snacks provided for a great stop. What more could I want or need?
The store keeper in Hinsdale recommended a great hotel/resort in Glasgow. We've ridden now for 6 days and are in need of a day off. So we're here in Glasgow through tomorrow leaving Sunday morning. It's a great hotel and we are looking forward to our day off.
One of the things that we've enjoyed during our trek across Montana has been the historical markers that are placed along our route. These markers lend a little insight into the history of the territory we are pedaling through.
