Shafer rest day

Today is a rest day at the Country B&B in Shafer, MN. A good friend of Marcia's who now lives in Minnesota has come down to visit as well. A very good day. The B&B is located on a very peaceful dirt road and is great for a lazy day off.

The storms of the night before turned out to be very violent. They passed within about 40 miles to the south of us.

This morning we went to church with our B&B host. It is a Swedish Lutheren church located in Center City, MN. It was a great start to a great day.

We are now a little more than halfway home. Tomorrow we enter Wisconsin and a looking forward to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan next week. Here is wether track of what we've done so far.

    Gorgeous B&B and I like the picture of Belinda and Marcia. Not sure a lot of talking was going on at that moment, though, just peaceful sitting. Enjoy the views in Wisconsin, also. It's another very beautiful state from what I remember.

    So happy you have not been within the storms. Very close, yet safe. Wisconsin and upper-peninsula Michigan are gorgeous. Looking forward to your posts!
